Snack Tales Project

Snack Tales sells healthy Japanese-style snacks — peanuts, peas and dried beans in six flavours — under the "7 Samuraji" name. We designed the full brand: packaging, logo, character illustrations, and the website that ties them together.

Six Characters, Six Flavours

I created six unique illustrated samurai, each representing their own taste and dressed in an individual color palette, maintaining a unified style. I specially developed my own fairy tale for each character; the story started on the packaging invites buyers to go to the website to find out what happens next.

The site brings the six flavours together in one place, alongside the fairy tales themselves and where to buy — built around the same illustrated cast and bold, comic-style lettering as the packaging.
