Rīgas ūdens

Rīgas ūdens, the city's water utility, needed one character who could carry messages about water quality, infrastructure and conservation without feeling like a utility bill. We designed Pilīte — a bespectacled water droplet with a small green sprout — built to flex into whatever role a campaign needed.

One Character, Every Message

Pilīte shows up as a maintenance worker in a hard hat with a wrench, a lab-coated scientist checking water quality with a magnifying glass, a teacher walking a class through the water cycle at a chalkboard, a call-centre agent with a headset, and a plain friendly wave — a different prop and pose for each context, always instantly recognisable as the same character.

Beyond the still poses, Pilīte was animated for a short film, bringing the character to life in motion for social media.
