Kimel

Kimel makes linen dresses — simple cuts, natural fabric, made to be worn outdoors. We shot the collection across three sessions and as many settings: a summer forest, a lakeside dock at sunset, and a pair of ornate period interiors, letting the dresses sit against very different backdrops without ever competing with them.

In the Forest

The first session moved through the trees at golden hour — dresses paired with fallen logs, moss and dappled light rather than a studio backdrop.

Behind the Scenes

By the Water

A second sitting followed the light down to a lake, closing out with a dress caught mid-laugh on a dock at dusk.

In the Manor

The third session traded nature for interiors — a tiled fireplace room and a stained-glass conservatory — pairing the same linen dresses with considerably grander surroundings.
