This policy explains what personal data Graphic.lv collects, why, and how you can control it. It applies to graphic.lv and its English-language pages.
Who we are
Graphic.lv is a creative studio operated by Kalvis Kalsers, based at Valentīna iela 16, Rīga, Latvia. For any privacy question, contact us at info@graphic.lv or +371 29693199. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
Data you send us directly
When you submit the contact form, request a quote, or sign up for the newsletter, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address or phone number, and your message. If you attach a reference image to a form, that file is included with your submission.
We use this only to respond to your inquiry or, for the newsletter, to send occasional updates about new work. We don't sell or rent it to third parties.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies. Necessary cookies — such as remembering your cookie choice — are always active and don't require consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics and, where enabled, the Meta Pixel) only load after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by declining in the banner again or clearing your browser's local storage.
Some pages also embed third-party content — Google reCAPTCHA (to keep the contact form spam-free), Elfsight widgets (to display Google/Facebook reviews and our Instagram feed), YouTube video embeds, and Google Maps — which may set their own cookies under the respective provider's own privacy policy, independent of our analytics consent.
Who else sees your data
We share data only with the service providers that keep the site and studio running: Brevo (delivers contact-form emails), Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Maps, YouTube), Meta (Pixel, where enabled), Elfsight (review and Instagram widgets), Sanity (content management — no visitor personal data is stored there), and Vercel (hosting, which processes standard technical logs like IP address and request timestamps for security and reliability).
None of these providers may use your data for their own purposes beyond providing their service to us.
How long we keep it
Contact-form and quote-request messages are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable business record-keeping afterward, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings (currently 14 months) before automatic deletion.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, or object to how it's used. To exercise any of these, email info@graphic.lv. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with Latvia's Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).
